Guest Speaker: Minister Wayne Thompson

Brother Wayne is an ordained minister with the Church of God in Christ. He serves as Minister of Music at Pentecostal Temple COGIC in San Marcos, Texas. Brother Wayne has led several choir initiatives including the Greater Austin COGIC Mass Choir, Pentecostal Nights of Worship, and Gospel Expressions Association. Brother Wayne is also the Transition Coordinator at the Hays County Juvenile Center. In this capacity he has become a mentor to hundreds of young men and women as he helps them receive education and job skills while in Juvenile Detention. Having served as both minister of the Gospel and a corrections officer, Brother Wayne brings a unique perspective to many of the cultural challenges we are facing today.
